Harbour Island Rock House Hotel Restaurant Review

Rock House Restaurant's pan seared grouper
  Rock House's Pan Seared Grouper
As with many of the finer Harbour Island Restaurants, reservations are a must-have -- especially at Rock House where dinner is quite an event. In addition to the wonderful food, you can, without a doubt, count on top quality attentive service.

My favorite entrée is a fish I can't get enough of when I'm on Harbour Island and that would be grouper. Rock House's offering is a pan seared version served atop baby lima beans with a tasty balsamic drizzle. The fish is seared to a crispy finish while maintaining its moist texture. A nice bottle of dry oaky chardonnay paired perfectly with the fish.

Meanwhile, Perry totally enjoyed his 'Junkanoo' Capellini. This pasta shares the plate with sautéed local lobster and baby white shrimp all mixed together with a spicy Arrabiata sauce.

Rounding out your dinner with one of their awesome desserts is an absolute must! I won't even go into the choices on their dessert menu. We'll leave that surprise dangling out there for you to review on your own.

Whether it's the food, atmosphere, service, or magnificent surroundings, you will have the perfect Bahamas island experience at Rock House. Drop by for lunch or dinner, or stay a spell at the hotel, you will be most pleased - indeed!
