Rock House Hotel Restaurant Review
The Rock Does It Right!

While vacationing on the island of Eleuthera recently, Perry and I made a couple of side trips to neighboring Harbour Island -- my favorite island in all of the Bahamas. One of those excursions included a stay at Rock House Hotel which gave us the opportunity to enjoy several truly incomparable meals at their fine restaurant.
Even though this is a restaurant review, I would be remiss to not spend a moment describing the hotel.
Rock House Hotel The decor is that very hard-to-pull-off “casual elegant.” The success of this concept is a credit to the fine hand of owner, J. Wallace Tutt III, who in his past life was a successful builder located in South Florida. Tutt has worked with such celebrities as Cher and Gianni Versace.
As you step through the entry hall and into the main sitting room, further on into the patio area and pool, and then to whatever sleeping room you are lucky enough to have, you can see and feel the difference from any other hotel you may have visited in the past.
Even with this elegant ambience, you find yourself immediately comfortable in your surroundings. Plan to spend time browsing the many photos and coffee table books that abound throughout the premises.
