Harbour Island is approximately 3 1/2 miles long, 1/2 mile wide and approximately 2 miles East of Eleuthera. The population is estimated between 1500 to 2000. The famous pink sand beaches are on the East side of the island and stretch nearly its entire length. Much of the North and South ends of Harbour Island are private homes and estates.
